Our common view is that things stand separately and independently. We objectify appearances and experience. We brand them with values of good and bad, correct and incorrect. Out of this arises debate, disagreement and conflict.

The great realisation of the Buddha achieved through meticulous examination was that this is not the way things are. They appear but do not stand alone. Everything depends on everything else. Context is vital and constantly shifts. Abiding in this reversal of view is what the Buddha taught to be the way to end all difficulty.
