Shambhala Training Level I

The Art of Being Human

Discovering basic goodness in the world and in ourselves

Saturday 3rd March & Sunday 4th March
Venue: Christchurch Buddhist Centre, 43 Harrow St, Phillipstown, Christchurch.

About:
Open your heart and mind to your own Basic Goodness and the sacredness of life. This is the message of Level 1, the Art of Being Human. In this excellent introductory program you will learn to meditate or to deepen your practice, if meditation is something you already do. Shambhala Training is a secular meditation training that develops fearlessness, confidence, openness, and gentleness towards ourselves and our world. These qualities arise out of meditation practice and the study of Shambhala warriorship. Shambhala Training welcomes people of all religious traditions as well as those who do not follow a particular spiritual path.

The workshop includes meditation training and practice, talks by the Director, individual meditation instruction meetings and group discussions.

Suitable for new and experienced meditators
